Privacy Policy
Leisure Financials is a personal finance tool operated by David Ezuma for his own use. The only person whose data it handles is its owner. This policy describes that handling.
Data collected
With the owner's explicit consent, given through Plaid Link, the app retrieves from the owner's linked accounts: account names and masked numbers, balances, transactions (date, amount, merchant, category), recurring transaction streams, and investment holdings and transactions.
How data is used
Data is used only to keep the owner's personal budget and account balances up to date. It is not used for advertising, profiling, lending decisions, or any purpose beyond personal financial management.
Storage and security
- Plaid access tokens and API credentials are stored only on the owner's computer, inside an encrypted, MFA-protected OneDrive Personal Vault. They are never committed to source control or shared.
- Transaction records are written to the owner's private Notion workspace, which is protected by Notion's account security and encrypted in transit and at rest.
- All network traffic to Plaid and Notion uses TLS.
Sharing
Data is not sold, rented, or shared with any third party. Plaid and Notion act only as service providers to deliver and store the owner's own data.
Retention and deletion
Data is kept only as long as the owner wants it for budgeting. Removing a linked account deletes its access token and calls Plaid's item removal endpoint, ending all further access. Stored records can be deleted from Notion at any time. Connections can also be reviewed and revoked at my.plaid.com.
Plaid
Account connections are provided by Plaid Inc. Plaid's handling of data is described in the Plaid End User Privacy Policy.
